BERNARD NYARKO OFORI

He is a well-organized and detail-oriented Administrative and Legal Support Professional with experience supporting legal practice, data operations, and social development programmes. He brings strong capabilities in office administration, legal documentation, client coordination, data management, and case support, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

He most recently served as an Administrative Assistant at Peter Antonio Legal Consult, where he provided comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Head of the firm and legal team, contributing to the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice and ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards.

During his tenure at the law firm, he prepared draft legal documents for review and approval, organized affidavits of documents, and maintained structured case files to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely access to information. He reviewed, filed, and tracked court-related documents to ensure compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.

He recorded and managed all incoming mail and correspondence, followed up with external organizations, and ensured that actions required were completed promptly. He also served as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates, relaying feedback to attorneys, and supporting effective client relationship management.

In addition, he coordinated lawyers’ schedules and appointments, ensured effective meeting planning, and prepared monthly expense sheets for both clients and the law firm. He supported statutory and administrative compliance by coordinating the timely payment of SSNIT contributions and maintaining accurate financial and administrative records for management review.

Prior to his legal practice experience, he worked as a Data Labeler at Datamaker Ghana, where he supported data-driven projects through accurate data annotation, labeling, and entry. His work contributed to the development of reliable training datasets for machine learning models, reinforcing his attention to detail and ability to work within structured quality frameworks.

He also served as an Office Assistant with Compassion International, providing administrative and programme support across office and field-based activities. His responsibilities included document management, minute-taking, visitor reception, typing and reproduction of documents, and participation in project meetings. He also conducted home visits, provided counselling support, and facilitated skills-development activities for beneficiaries.

As part of his professional training, he undertook concurrent fieldwork at a Senior Correctional Centre, where he provided counselling and case management support to juveniles. His work included individual and group counselling, drug rehabilitation support using the 12-step Narcotics Anonymous programme, and academic and career guidance aimed at rehabilitation and successful reintegration.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with Sociology from the University of Ghana. He has also completed professional certifications in Microsoft Office applications and Data Labeling, strengthening his administrative, digital, and data management capabilities. He holds a paralegal certificate from Minkah-Premo, Osei-Bonsu, Bruce-CathLine & Partners.

 He is proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, virtual meeting coordination, team communication tools, and structured data management. He is recognized for his professionalism, reliability, discretion, and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
